Steven James Media Group is a full service production company. We work in both the commercial and creative space, producing high quality videos for a wide range of clients from startups to brand niche to corporate. We have produced everything from shorts to music videos to feature films that have been distributed internationally and on Netflix, Amazon, and every major VOD platform. What You Can Expect
Customized training in grip/lighting, audio recording, shooting, and editing
Overview of shoot scheduling, casting, and budgeting
On-set production experience
Basic editing projects
Shadowing opportunities for scripting & content development

Desired Prerequisites
Passionate about filmmaking
Interested in all aspects of the video production process, including concepting, production & post-production
Basic skills in video editing in Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro
Interest in continued work in video production in Rochester

Logistics
Must reside in the greater Rochester, NY area
Must have your own transportation
Expected time commitment approximately 12-16 hours per week; schedule flexibility preferred, giving you the opportunity to attend video shoots and other key events
Video shoots and training will be in-person, with most other meetings virtual
Pay: $15/hr
